We bring the fun, dance and entertainment to any party!

All our parties are bespoke – and every one is different.

From straight forward dance session for a small group of children, to themed events with characters, dancers, entertainment, food and more.

Here are some frequently asked questions which cover most aspects of our service:

1. Can a party be held on a Saturday?

During the Dance Centre term times we cannot hold parties on a Saturday. Sunday’s and Fridays are best for us.

2. Are there a minimum or maximum number of children allowed?

No minimum and maximum of 30, as long as we have a studio large enough to accommodate the kids on the day requested.  Please note that there is a minimum charge of £100.00

3. How long does the party last?

Normally 2 hours, but we can do a party for one hour if required.

4. Is cost per child or set amount?

The cost depends on exactly what you request.  A ball park figure for a two hour party £160-£200 for 10-20 children. This includes the instructor, dance studio, buffet table for your use, balloons, happy birthday banner, 3-4 party games, general dancing time, and the teaching of a routine of your choice.  T-shirts, food, drinks and other extras are available at an extra charge.  Please see below.

5. How far in advance is it best to book.

The sooner the better so the studio and instructor can be booked.

6. What type of food and drinks can be provided?

We do not provide hot food only snack food such as: crisps, biscuits, cakes and other pre-prepared treats.  You decide what you would like and we can give you a costing per child.

Drinks: people can choose between water, fruit shoots, cans of ‘pop’ or diluted juice in jugs.  Parents can alternatively bring their own food and drinks.  We can prepare a table to serve it from which is located in the same room as the party.

 7. Do you provide extras? Costs?

Keep Sake T-shirts: These are specially ordered from our supplier in any colour.  They can be worn during the party and are a nice addition to any party bag.  Normally we supply a print on the front consisting of a couple of words and a small image of a dancer E.g. ‘Rachel’s Rock Chicks’ or ‘Harry’s Hip Hop Crew’ Cost is normally £10.00 per top.

Candy Girl Hostess: She will greet the kids (and adults) as they arrive, posing for photos and give out sweets which are on her tray.  Cost for this is £100 for 45 minutes.  This includes the sweets.  Alternatively, have her arrive near the end of the party to give out party bags and sweets.  (see right)

Themed Dancers/Characters:   Dancer/s can mingle with the children and perform with the kids during the party.  Any costume theme is available such as: Bollywood, hip hop, Latino, Cheerleader, or Disney characters (if a large character costume is required then this is at an additional charge).  We can also costume the ‘party girl or boy’ if required.

8. Do you provide song lists or do we compile our own?

We can compile a full play list of pop tunes.  Alternatively, you can bring your own iPod to connect into our system if you have special songs or a specific playlist you would like to use.

9.  Are there disco lights?

We do not have flashing disco lights, but we do have coloured lighting in the main dance studio.  If you require a hired disco/lighting we can arrange this for you.

10.  Styles of dance available?

We can do any style of dance or teach a routine to any requested track, as long as we know in advance of the party.  Popular themes are: Pop Dance (modern dance to popular tunes), Cheerleading, Bollywood, High School Musical (singing and dancing or just dancing), Disney, Hip Hop Street, Grease/Rock n Roll and ‘Strictly’ Latin.

11. Is there parking at the Dance Centre?

Yes a large free car park is available.

12. Do you hire your instructors and dancers out to parties at different venues?

Yes, price is on application.  Normally an hourly rate applies.

13. Do I have to pay a deposit?  And when do I pay the balance?

Yes, £50 none refundable deposit is due at the time of booking.  The balance is either paid in cash one week prior to the party or by bank transfer.
